29 Weeks

Your baby now weighs about 2 1/2 pounds (like a butternut squash) and is a tad over 15 inches long from head to heel. His muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and his head is growing bigger to make room for his developing brain. To meet his increasing nutritional demands, you'll need plenty of protein, vitamins C, folic acid, and iron. And because his bones are soaking up lots of calcium, be sure to drink your milk (or find another good source of calcium, such as cheese, yogurt, or enriched orange juice). This trimester, about 250 milligrams of calcium are deposited in your baby's hardening skeleton each day.

Sleep habits: Sleep?! Some nights I get lots.  Some nights not so much. 

Maternity clothes: Yep.

Food cravings: Some days I can not get enough chocolate. As in OMG give me your chocolate now. Other days, it is all I can do to force myself to eat.

Symptoms: Still a little swelling here and there. I am still having some headaches but my bp seems to be ok.

Gender: Boy :)

Movement: Some days this boy is going crazy and other days he is just down right lazy. Sometimes I get worried but if I can do something to get him going then I am happy.

Nursery: Yet another productive {rainy} weekend.  Baby Boy's room is really coming together.  The carpets were cleaned and the crib was put together. I've emptied the closet and started washing clothes.  I want to be ready in case he decides to make an early entrance into this world like his sister!

We even put the swing together.  I want H.B.Nanna to get used to it.  She wanted to push her baby doll in it.  We are working on the slow and gentle part but she seems really excited.

I think the dog was pretty traumatized when she saw it.  Kind of like "Oh Gosh!! Here we go again!"

Next appointment: Today I go for my weekly visit and ultrasound.  Next week my ultrasound is a Level II at the Maternal Fetal Medicine office.
