Your Three Words

One of the advantages of moving where we did is that we get to spend lots of time at the beach.

I think I am truly a fan of fall beach time. You wouldn’t believe how crowded the beach can get.

Sand in your toes when it's not 100 degrees is AWESOME!!h

All of this time I had no idea what I was missing out on!

I’m looking forward to spending Halloween at the beach with my family :)

Mommy Burnout

How many things on this list can you relate to?

There are quite a few for me though I think they are all amusing.

A dirty diaper or tinkle accident (since we are still potty training) really does make me cry sometimes. Hanna and Stephen look at like I am crazy when I start to cry about it. Especially if Hanna just had a bath. She's good at doing that.

I admit I have used my outside voice inside. But who hasn't. Right???

My wonderful husband has learned not to ask me to call anyone to ask questions about anything. I never ask the right questions and well it's just easier for him to do it. I have no complaints about this arrangement.

Number 10 makes me crack up.  We say MOVE MORGAN when she is under our feet.  My 21 month old adorable daughter now looks at Morgan and says MOVE!  That can't be good!

Halloween Costume & Tears

I wish that my child liked her Halloween costume.

The first time I tried it on her tears. screaming. lots of it. and instantly.

Today there were more tears. not instantly. but there were tears.

I’m hoping to at least get her in it and take a picture.

We’ll pretend its Halloween.

Maybe next year will be better!

It will look lovely with her new Dora Dora sheets.

Life Lessons

  • All of the things you say you aren’t going to do as a parent are out the window as soon as that baby enters the world.
  • Secrets and lies are crap. They shouldn’t exist and whoever says there is such a thing as good secrets and white lies is full of crap too.
  • A good hug from your child can make everything right with the world.
  • It doesn’t matter how much money you have or how fancy your possessions are, if you don’t have anyone to share it with, then they are worth nothing.
  • You learn who really cares about you during your biggest time of need.
  • A child’s belly laugh is the best sound you’ll ever hear.
  • You can’t please everyone all of the time.  No matter how hard you try.
  • Sometimes you have to just do what is right for you and not what everyone else thinks is right.
  • You don’t always have to agree with a person’s decision.  Offering your support to them is the best thing you could ever do.
  • Hearing your child say “love you” for the first time is a moment you will never forget.
  • It is important to have all of the facts before you make any sort of judgment

Gone but Not Forgotten

We are still here.
There has been A LOT going on.
Just when I think I have time to blog, I realize I actually don't.

I'm working on some posts though.
Full of picture overload.
Don't say you weren't warned.....  :)
